take a 3hr train ride from Florence to Milan. 1/2 hour bus from Milan train station to the airport. wait for ever 2 hours for my flight. 1.5 hour flight from Milan, Italy tho Prague, Czech Republic. 1 hour bus to my hotel in Prague. Today was all about waiting and walking.

My first impressions of Prague are not so great. It is a former Communist ruled country and signs of it show everywhere. The public transportation and facilities are so old that it makes you feel like you have gone 40years back in time. Everything seems very run down and dismal. I will get a better chance to get out and see things tomorrow. I hope that my opinion changes. I caught a glimpse of some very spectacular gothic architecture. I will take some pictures tomorrow.
